Traveling Nurses is looking to add a new Direct Support Professional to join our team. The Direct Support Professional will assist residents in the community with day-to-day activities, including everyday living, grocery shopping, leisure activities, transportation, medication reminders, and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Support daily activities – ensure residents’ safety and well‑being by facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and creating secure environments. Offer prompts for toileting, eating, and other routine needs, observe patients’ medical, physical, and mental responses, and provide written and verbal reports about residents’ conditions and guidance to families.
• Apply compliance knowledge – demonstrate a thorough understanding of resident care and a sensitive approach, and maintain knowledge of all state resident rights and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and a current state license.
