Job summary

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring for evening shifts in Portland, ME. In this caregiver role, you will provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals receiving care in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other supports in residential and community settings, helping implement therapeutic and behavioral plans with our clinical staff.

You will assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning and medication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Six months to one year of experience in human services.
• Valid Driver’s License from state of residence for a minimum of 1 year.
• Must be minimum of 18 years of age.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• A caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
• A commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsibilities

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community‑based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

We are hiring for evening shifts. Our base wage is $18.75 per hour, but if you have direct care experience or certifications such as Certified Registered Medication Aide, you can earn more per hour.

In this role as a caregiver, you will carry out rewarding work and play a crucial role in the success of our organization.
