Metro Star Services in Orlando, FL is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. You will provide hands-on care, help individuals develop daily living skills, and support inclusive community participation.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of caregiving experience. We offer weekly pay, flexible schedules, and opportunities for professional development in a supportive team environment.

Job Summary:

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide hands-on care and assistance to individuals in their daily lives. Your role will include helping them develop independent living skills, ensuring community inclusion, and supporting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care services tailored to the individual’s needs.
• Assist withActivities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Support individuals inmeal preparationand ensure dietary needs are met.
• Promoteindependent living skillssuch as budgeting, grocery shopping, and household chores.
• Encourage and facilitatecommunity inclusion, social skills, and recreational activities.
• Implementindividualized goals and support plansin a person-centered environment.
• Ensure thehealth and safetyof all individuals under your care.
• Identify, document, and report anyincidents, allegations of abuse, or concernsas required.
• Administermedications accurately(upon successful completion of an approved AMAP course).
• Communicate effectively withstaff, management, and familiesto ensure coordinated care.
