Job summary

The Community Supports Network, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This entry-level healthcare and human services role includes paid training and opportunities for growth.

No prior experience required. Responsibilities include daily living support, personal care, transportation, and helping individuals participate in community activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Ability to complete job-related training and certifications.
• No degree or prior experience required — paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (cooking, cleaning, laundry).
• Support with personal care, hygiene, and medication per care plans.
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, and community activities.
• Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and life skills.
• Complete habilitation activities and required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow health, safety, behavior, and individual support plans.

Job Summary

This is a rewarding entry-level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities
• Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interests
• Support individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participation
• Complete habilitation activities and required documentation accurately and on time
• Follow all health, safety, behavioral, and individual support plans

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts
• Ability to pass required background checks

Schedule and Location

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Available shifts include 8am 3pm and 3pm-10pm.
• Work occurs in residential homes and community-based settings

Pay and Compensation

• Hourly pay range $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
• Shift differentials may apply based on schedule and coverage needs
