Alora Supports in Omaha, NE is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support in the home and community for an individual in Bennington. Two shifts are available, totaling about 30 hours per week, with no overnight shifts.
You will help with daily living activities, personal goals, and skill development, while promoting community participation, social engagement, and independence. Applicants should be compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping others succeed.
Alora Supports is looking to connect with a caring, reliable Direct Support Professional to support a individual in Bennington, NE. We build our support teams around each individual, and this opening has two shift opportunities available, covered by separate staff teams:
Supported Family Living — approx. 30 hrs/week. Mom covers weekday evening hours, so this role covers the remaining daytime support.
Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
You're welcome to apply for either shift or both, depending on your availability. We do not currently offer overnight shifts.
Must be at least 19 years old
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation
Must be willing to undergo a background check
Must be compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping others succeed
Provide one-on-one support in the home and out in the community
Assist with daily living activities, personal goals, and skill development
Support community participation, social engagement, and independence
Build a positive, professional relationship with the individual and his family
