Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings. You’ll assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and help clients participate in community activities with dignity and respect.

Ideal candidates bring at least a high school diploma and some direct-care experience, and you will join a supportive, mission-driven team with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Key skills include communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in activities they enjoy.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build real, meaningful relationships and provide respectful, compassionate care.
