Traditional Home Care in Clarks Summit, PA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one non-medical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We offer flexible shifts and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience preferred.
• Must use a mobile device and comply with EVV / 21st Century Cures Act requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Demonstrate appropriate communication and social skills.
• Perform light housekeeping and chores as needed.
• Ensure a safe environment and teach basic safety skills.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and outcomes.
• Promote community involvement through outings and activities.

Shift: Full-time, Part-time, Weekday and Weekend Shifts Available!

Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.

Job Duties Include

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skills
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Mobile Device & EVV Requirements

This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
