Job summary

Mentor Community Services in Belle Vernon, PA, part of Sevita, is hiring a Direct Support Professional for IDD services. This full-time day shift (7am-3pm Sun/Fri/Sat and 7am-11pm Mon) offers meaningful work supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and helping them live well.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, budgeting, exercise and nutrition, with training provided. Requirements include a high school diploma and at least six months of experience in human services;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals.
• Provide compassionate, patient care and build meaningful relationships.
• Ensure safety and follow care plans under supervision.

Direct Support Professional - IDD Services

Location: Belle Vernon, PA 15012

Shift: FT Day (7am-3pm Sun/Fri/Sat and 7am-11pm Mon) 40

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Valid Driver's License (1+ years driving experience required)
