Job summary

Myers Davis Life Coaching Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join its team delivering community-based services under the Arkansas DDS framework.

The position is full-time with a Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm schedule. The DSP will provide compassionate, person-centered care, support independence, assist with daily living tasks, and accompany clients on community outings while promoting safety.

Reporting to their Direct Care Supervisor & Waiver Services Director, the Direct Support Professional (DSP) will participate in the team approach toward accomplishing the goal of Community Based Services associated with the Waiver program through Arkansas Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS).

This is a Full-Time position with the following schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Help individuals acquire skills, such as social behavior & interpersonal competence
• Provide a person-centered care approach to all individuals we support
• Assist with community outings, personal hygiene assistance, mobility exercises and meal prep
• Assist with verbal prompting for communication needs and in home safety practices

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid state license or ID
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background checks
• Should exhibit characteristics such as patience, kindness, and understanding
