Job summary

Myers-Davis in Arkansas seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team providing community-based services under the DDS waiver program. You will work under the Direct Care Supervisor & Waiver Services Director to support individuals in achieving independence and safe living skills.

This full-time night-shift position runs Monday through Friday, 10:00 pm–6:00 am, offering a chance to make a meaningful difference in daily activities, mobility, personal care, and social interaction

• Help individuals acquire skills, such as social behavior & interpersonal competence
• Provide a person-centered care approach to all individuals we support
• Assist with community outings, personal hygiene assistance, mobility exercises and meal prep
• Assist with verbal prompting for communication needs and in home safety practices

Reporting to their Direct Care Supervisor & Waiver Services Director, the Direct Support Professional (DSP) will participate in the team approach toward accomplishing the goal of Community Based Services associated with the Waiver program through Arkansas Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS).

This is a Full-Time position with the following schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:00am.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid state license or ID
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background checks
• Should exhibit characteristics such as patience, kindness, and understanding
