Sevita in Missouri is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives.

You will mentor, support daily activities, assist with meals, personal care, and community involvement while promoting independence and growth. This role emphasizes compassionate, reliable care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
• Clear background checks completed.
• Compassionate approach and commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and support to individuals to reach personal goals.
• Assist with daily living tasks including meal prep and personal care.
• Support community inclusion by attending events and activities.
• Administer medications as needed and ensure safety.
