Job summary

Connections Services, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist residents in Bloomington, MN. We offer full- and part-time positions with a starting pay of $17.00–$18.00 per hour, biweekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package after probation.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, medication administration, and supporting residents’ daily activities and goals. Requires 18+ and a valid US driver's license; no degree required and training provided.

We are a company that provides care giver services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area.

We currently are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with our residents at several of our Bloomington homes. We have various full and part time positions available.

Starting Salary:

$17.00-$18.00 hourly, depending on location.

Benefits:

Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.

What do Connections Direct Support Professionals do?

Duties

DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):

• Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessary
• Teaching and maintaining skills
• Cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
• Participating in the development of Individual Program Plans
• Medication administration
• Participating in fun recreational activities with residents!

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid US driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to do personal cares for residents, including bathing, toileting, dressing, administering medications, and lifts.

Connections Services, LLC will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees.
