Job summary

Chrysalis is hiring part-time Direct Care Staff to support individuals with developmental disabilities in living meaningful, self-directed lives. You will assist with daily living tasks, engage in activities, and help participants learn new skills in a supportive environment.

The role requires weekend availability and weekday evening hours, with an entry-level wage and benefits including health insurance for full-time staff. Training is provided; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a drug test and a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
• Participate in fun activities and assist with budgeting and meal preparation.
• Help individuals try new things and accompany them on community activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to learn new skills.
• Assist with shopping and transportation to community events.
• Maintain a reliable, compassionate presence during weekday evenings and weekends.
• Support weekend coverage as needed to ensure program continuity.

Chrysalis is seeking to hire part-time Direct Care Staff. Would you like to support individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, meaningful lives? This entry-level position starts at a competitive wage of $15.00-$17.75/hr, depending on experience. In addition, we offer our full-time employees excellent benefits including health insurance as well as flexibility and a rewarding experience.

Position Details

As an entry-level Direct Care Staff, you support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including:

• Participating in fun activities
• Budgeting
• Meal preparation
• Help the individuals try new things.
• Shopping
• Mentor the individuals to learn new skills
• Transporting individuals out in the community/sight seeing
• MUST be willingto work weekends
• Positions needingto be filled: Weekends & Weekday evenings/swing shifts

Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus, but we're willing to train you.
