Responsibilities

• Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as budgeting, meal preparation, shopping and transportation.
• Mentor individuals to learn new skills and encourage trying new activities.
• Be willing to work weekends and evening shifts.

As an entry-level Direct Care Staff, you support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including:

• Budgeting
• Meal preparation
• Help the individuals try new things.
• Shopping
• Mentor the individuals to learn new skills
• Transporting individuals out in the community/sight seeing
• MUST be willingto work weekends
• Positions needingto be filled: Weekends & Weekday evenings/swing shifts
