Responsibilities

The DSP provides assistance with mobility and activities of daily living by following treatment plans for individuals to reach their goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and minimum age of 18 (as required by the State of Nevada)
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance (as required by the State of Nevada)
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, read, write, hear, understand, and speak English for accurate communication and documentation
• Professional conduct, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals
• Dependability, flexibility, and ability to work with minimal supervision; prior related health‑care training or experience and aptitude to understand health‑care needs and respond to clients with dignity are a plus
