Job summary

CRJ seeks a Direct Support Professional to join our Keene, NH team in a 30-hour-per-week, full-time role. You will work at our Keene location, supporting individuals with compassion and dependability, with eligibility for benefits and a starting rate of $19/hr.

Schedule is Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm. You’ll supervise and transport clients, help them learn new skills, and ensure safety and high quality of life in all settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass required certifications in the allotted time set forth by the agency.
• Must pass a criminal and driver’s check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, including interviews, medical appointments, and activities.
• Support and teach clients new skills per Individual Service Plan.
• Model positive behavior to help clients achieve the best quality of life while staying safe.
• Administer medications and complete timely documentation with progress notes and summaries.

What you’ll do

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips
• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan
• Acting as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings
• Administering medications and completing appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance
