Job summary

The Community Supports Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities live independently and safely in their communities. Entry-level role with paid training and growth opportunities.

No prior experience required; training is provided. Various shifts available, including full-time and part-time, with day-to-day responsibilities in residential and community settings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Ability to complete job-related training and certifications.
• No degree or prior experience required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans.
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities.
• Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interests.
• Support individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participation.
• Complete habilitation activities and required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow all health, safety, behavioral, and individual support plans.

Job Summary

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently, safely, and meaningfully in their communities. This is a rewarding entry - level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experience required

Schedule and Location

Full-time and part-time positions available

Available shifts are

• 7am-3pm
• 3pm-11pm
• 11pm-7am

Work occurs in residential homes and community-based settings

Pay and Compensation

Hourly pay range $17.00 to $18.50 per hour based on education and experience
