Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Horsham, PA to provide compassionate direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our IDD division. This role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and community engagement.

No experience required—paid training is provided; you will join a mission-driven team and enjoy flexible shifts (Tuesday–Saturday 3:00pm–11:00pm) with opportunities for growth and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
