Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Hershey, PA. The role offers paid training, a stable second shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekend requirements.

You'll assist with ADLs, mobility, meal prep, meds as trained, and document progress notes, while joining a compassionate team focused on growth and independence.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Related direct care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.

• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.
