Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring full-time caregivers. The position pays $17.00 per hour and requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Shifts include 8am–8pm and 2pm–9pm on weekdays with every other weekend availability.

You will assist participants with personal hygiene and support those with developmental and behavioral needs, helping them stay engaged in the community. Benefits accompany full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in their favorite activities.

Available Shifts

• (Full-Time) Varied weekdays, 8am-8pm and every other Saturday and Sunday 8am-8pm
• (Full-Time) Varying weekdays, 2pm-9pm and every other Saturday and Sunday 2pm-9pm

This position requires someone who has had a Driver's License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.
