Job summary

Kahak Health Care Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist clients in daily living, independence, and community participation, while maintaining safety in their home and community.

The role requires a reliable car, valid driver's license, work authorization, and current CPR & First Aid certification, along with background checks.

Duties of Direct Support Professional (DSP):

The DSP provides direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and/or behavioral health needs. The DSP assists individuals in achieving independence, improving daily living skills, participating in community activities, and maintaining health and safety in their home and community. This position requires compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to person-centered support.
