Job summary

Bost-Inc. in Fort Smith, AR is seeking full-time Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals and families in their homes, helping maximize quality of life by providing in-home assistance with daily living activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration and personal care.

DSPs also support community involvement, accompany outings, provide transportation, and assist with therapy and behavioral plans in partnership with clinicians to enhance overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide in-home support with empathy and professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with individuals, families and clinical staff.
• Reliability and ability to follow care plans and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living at home.
• Prepare meals and plan menus for daily needs.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor health.
• Provide transportation to work and community activities.

Bost is excited to announce that we are seeking full time DSPs to work directly with individuals and their families to help support and maximize the individual’s quality of life by providing in home assistance with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. DSPs also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSP’s support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life.

Workdays/Hours: Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM

Pay Rate: $13.25/hr

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Pass a background check, reference check and drug screening
