Job summary

Ahlhealthcaregroup in Jackson, MN is hiring Direct Support Professionals for part-time roles. We seek caring, patient individuals to help people with disabilities live better lives in a supportive home setting.

Responsibilities include daily living assistance, meal prep, medication administration and documentation, social activities, and accompanying residents on appointments and outings. Shifts include mornings and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a MN DHS Background Study.
• Available to work every other weekend.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and car insurance; a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Cook and clean for residents.
• Administer medications and document accordingly.
• Socialize with residents through activities and outings.
• Attend appointments and accompany residents on trips.
• Make a difference in the lives of others.

About our Adult Foster Care division - At Home Living

We believe in our clients and their right to live in the least-restrictive environment. We also ensure that the homes they live in allow them to lead fulfilled lives while remaining safe and well-cared-for. All of our homes have 4 bedrooms each. Most of our clients can live independently, but need some help with certain tasks. A couple of our programs have additional cares involved so there is a higher starting wage in those programs. Location:

Jackson, MN

Compensation:

$17.00/hour

Hours of Position:

• Mornings (7am-3pm)
• Evenings (3pm-11pm)

Typical Job Duties:

• Cooking and cleaning
• Medication administration & documentation
• Socializing with residents (playing games, watching movies, going for walks, bonfires, etc.)
• Going to appointments & outings with clients (shopping, movies, fishing, etc.)
• & Most importantly - Making a difference in the lives of others

Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• Pass a MN DHS Background Study

• Current Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Clean Record
