Job summary

Sevita REM Community Services in Missouri seeks a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You’ll assist with personal hygiene, help participants engage in activities, and support development of goals.

You’ll build real relationships, work with a supportive team, and contribute to a stable, mission-driven organization offering full-time benefits, paid time off, and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants in community activities and socialization.
• Help participants work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop meaningful relationships and collaborate with a caregiving team.
