Job summary

Hope Human Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver to assist adults with a range of needs in their home and community. You will provide in-home services, support daily living skills, and accompany clients to events such as sports, movies, and outings.

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required. We offer paid training, weekend shifts, competitive pay between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour, and a benefits package for full-time staff, including health coverage and

Qualifications

Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills.
Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
21 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and three years of licensed driving experience.
Have a High School Diploma or GED.
Pass a background check through DSHS.
Be available to work at least one weekend shift a week.

Responsibilities

Teaching and coaching individuals according to habilitative plans.
Assisting with or providing basic living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene and medication.
Providing supervision and engagement.
Facilitating community outings.
