Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our program in West Hampton, NJ. No experience required as paid training is provided. The role involves assisting with daily living activities and helping residents gain independence under supervision of the House Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.
• Work under supervision of the House Manager and review of results.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach residents to achieve their goals and independence.
