Job summary

The Arc of Litchfield County is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead engaged, independent lives. This part-time role offers meaningful daily work, flexible shifts, and a strong benefits package.

You’ll provide personal care, support in homes and communities, and opportunities for skill development while fostering dignity, respect, and inclusion. Training is offered to help you grow in human services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and a physical.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in homes, community, or day programs.
• Help with personal care, meal prep, daily living activities.
• Encourage skill development and independence.
