RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional (Caregiver/DSP) in Maxton, NC. You will join a caring team to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and others facing mental health or substance use challenges, helping them live their best lives.

The role is entry-level and involves advocacy, coaching, and assisting in daily activities, both at home and in the community. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills.
• Some computer skills preferred.
• Ability to maintain good work attendance and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy living and prevent illness.
• Increase awareness of self-advocacy and support individual choice and decision-making.
• Accompany people to work, community outings, and activities.
• Teach independent living skills.
• Provide transportation to appointments.
• Foster positive relationships within the community.
• Promote decision-making about living, work, and social relationships.
• Assist with personal care and document care provided.
