Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in La Mesa, CA is hiring a Direct Support Professional to promote health and safety for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role includes advocacy and improving quality of life with a strong mission-driven team.

Full-time position with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a shift availability in the PM. Required are a valid CA driver’s license, a background check, and willingness to obtain DSP certification if not already held.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a California Driver's License.
• Background check is required.
• First Aid/ CPR and CPI training preferred or willing to obtain.
• Direct Support Professional Certification preferred or willing to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in the Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).
