Job summary

Chrysalis provides a variety of support services for at-risk adults and/or juveniles with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

This role requires the ability to work in stress-filled and safety-sensitive environments, follow pre-approved programs, and communicate crucial decisions effectively to others, helping individuals gain independence by applying Chrysalis values: Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+.
• Background check and LEIE clearance per state regulations.
• Pass required controlled substance tests.
• Must speak, read and write English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
• Stay awake, responsive, and communicate effectively with individuals.
• Teach daily living skills.
• Plan appropriate activities for individuals.
• Create opportunities to increase quality of life.
• Provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Implement Person Centered Support Plans and follow Behavioral Plans.
• Supervise individuals according to guidelines and respect their choices.
• Assist and supervise medication administration as required.
• Complete administrative tasks within established time frames.
• Maintain required documentation for Chrysalis and the State.
• Communicate with the Manager about individuals’ needs.
• Adhere to Provider Code of Conduct/ Abuse Neglect and Exploitation Policy.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
