Job summary

Chrysalis Host Home is seeking a part-time direct support staff to assist individuals with disabilities in community activities and daily living tasks. Responsibilities include supervising clients, promoting independence, and ensuring safety in all activities.

Position requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work in stress-filled environments while following approved programs and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass and maintain a background check and LEIE per state regulations.
• Pass required controlled substance tests.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living skills.
• Plan appropriate activities for individuals.
• Create opportunities for people to increase quality of life.
• Provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Follow behavior plans and support guidelines.
• Document and communicate with the supervisor as required.
