Job summary

Live Well Homecare in the United States is seeking a Dedicated Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges to live more independently and improve daily life.

You will provide person-centered care, follow care plans, support meals and daily activities, transport clients to appointments, assist with medications, and promote personal care, life skills, and social engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Passion for helping others, reliable and team-oriented.
• Willingness to learn and be physically and emotionally resilient.
• Preferred: 1–2 years in healthcare or social services; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centered support and care, following behavior and care plans
• Creating a safe, respectful environment that upholds individuals' rights
• Assisting with meal preparation, housekeeping, and daily activities
• Transporting individuals to appointments and advocating on their behalf
• Administering medications as prescribed
• Supporting personal care, life skills, and social engagement
• Remaining available for 24/7 care where necessary
