Job summary

Creed Medical Group is seeking passionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and work closely with clients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure quality care and a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, encouraging participation in activities, documenting care activities, and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in direct support or caregiving preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and daily living tasks.
• Encourage and facilitate participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
• Implement and follow individualized support plans to enhance client independence.
• Document care activities accurately and report any changes in client status.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all clients.
• Collaborate with team members and families to provide comprehensive care.
