Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one, following each person’s ISP to promote independence, everyday living skills, and meaningful participation.

This role offers flexible hours, standard onboarding, and local cases across New Jersey, with a supportive team and opportunities for growth within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
