Job summary

Bridgewell in Topsfield, MA, seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living assistance and skill-building in residential settings, with some evening/weekend shifts. You will support individuals with developmental, physical or psychiatric disabilities, promote independence, and document progress according to regulatory standards.

You will be trained in behavioral support, MAP, and safety procedures, and may be tasked with transportation, medication administration, and coordinating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience.
• Experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication; organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with activities of daily living.
• Create opportunities for decision-making to foster independence.
• Transport and accompany individuals to medical and recreational activities.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes per standards.
• Administer medications as required and ensure safety procedures.
