Sevita is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live well and participate fully in their communities. You’ll foster friendships, mentor participants, and advocate for their goals, while receiving support from a values-driven leadership team.

You’ll help with daily tasks, encourage inclusion, and contribute to a respectful, supportive environment that values growth and independence.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; 5 years caregiving experience accepted in lieu of education.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Successful background checks.
• Reliable, responsible attitude.
• Compassionate approach to care and quality-focused mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Empower individuals to achieve personal and developmental goals.
• Build meaningful connections as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative and contribute ideas with support from leadership.
• Assist with daily living: meal prep, medication, personal care, outings.
• Help participants access communities, attend events, and pursue favorite activities.
