Job summary

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help with daily routines, promote independence, and support participation in social activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Training is provided to cover individualized plans and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass PA background clearances.
• Able to work independently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines in homes and communities, including meals and personal care.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.
• Assist with community activities, employment, and social engagement.
• Follow individualized support plans and health/behavioral strategies.
• Ensure safety, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Communicate with supervisors and complete basic documentation.
