Job summary

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) is looking for Direct Support Professionals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them build independence, confidence, and meaningful daily lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Pass PA background clearances is required.
• Comfortable working independently while part of a team.
• Experience is a plus—but not required (we provide training).

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.
• Assist with community activities, employment, and social engagement.
• Follow individualized support plans and health/behavioral strategies.
• Ensure safety, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Communicate with supervisors and complete basic documentation.
