Job summary

ViaQuest Day & Employment Services seeks a Direct Support Professional in Parma Heights, OH. The role offers $17.50 per hour, full-time hours Monday through Friday, 1st shift, with paid training on CPR and First Aid as part of the benefits package. Training is provided in full and prior experience is not required.

Responsibilities include direct care, supervising individuals, transportation to the Day Program, personal care and supporting community outings, emphasizing safety and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in all aspects of daily life.
• Transport individuals between homes and the Day Program using a company vehicle.
• Provide personal care assistance.
• Participate in community outings with transportation and support.
