Job summary

Sevita is seeking a compassionate caregiver at REM Community Services. You’ll support individuals with developmental disabilities, assist with daily living activities, personal care, budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, while fostering independence and community participation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least six months in human services, strong communication, reliability, and a valid driver's license with vehicle access.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and time management.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage participation in community activities and independent living.
