Job summary

Community Services Group (CSG) is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential or community settings. This full-time, 2nd shift role includes weekend availability and a two-week paid orientation at multiple offices.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for orientation travel. Base pay starts at $17/hr with the potential to earn up to $21/hr depending on location and shift; comprehensive benefits and training are offered

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Administers medication and treatment as permitted under regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships to promote emotional and physical well-being.
• Assist adults with daily living skills and independence.
• Support individuals' preferences and ensure interests are honored.
• Promote community integration through life skills and activities.
• Document care accurately and timely in health records.
• Coordinate with family, agencies, and other service providers.
• Assist with medical care and follow health/dietary guidelines.
• Conduct fire drills and handle emergencies during shifts.
