Job summary

ZION ADULT RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES is seeking a Direct Support Personnel to join our team. In this role you will assist adults with disabilities by addressing hygiene needs, housekeeping, errands, and medications to enhance quality of life.

The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, flexible and reliable, with experience or certification in DSP, and a valid driver's license to support client appointments and transportation needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Direct support personnel or DSP certification is preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene needs including bathing and dressing.
• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Complete housekeeping activities.
• Dispense medication.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, housekeeping and errands ie groceries shopping, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards.
