Job summary

Chrysalis of Ogden, UT is seeking Direct Support Professionals to drive individuals and their staff to activities, appointments and events. In the day program you will work in homes and training settings to ensure they are safe, respected, mentored and having fun.

You will be paid to go to movies, fishing, bowling and games, and to be a teacher, a mentor and a friend. Pay range is $15.00–$17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must meet and stay in compliance with Chrysalis driving requirements.
• Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form.
• Able to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames.
• Have good judgment and able to handle crisis situations.
• Have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals drive individuals and staff to activities, appointments and events; when not driving, work in homes and training settings.
• In the day program, create opportunities for individuals to increase their quality of life in workplace and community settings.
