Job summary

Bristol Adult Resource Center, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our RISE Day Program. This part-time role focuses on personal care, community participation, and growth opportunities, with paid training including CPR/PMT and Medication Certification.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are at least 18, and hold a valid driver’s license. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Medication Certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning opportunities and support for individuals to achieve personal goals.
• Transport individuals to and from programs and activities.
• Administer medications and treatments following guidelines and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide a safe, respectful environment where individuals are treated with dignity and rights are upheld.
• Record daily activities electronically and protect confidentiality.
