Job summary

Island Home Care, a family-run home care provider in Denham Springs, LA, seeks compassionate caregivers. We offer flexible shifts and locations to fit your personal schedule, with training provided if you have no prior experience.

Caregivers support clients at home with meals, grooming, mobility, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship, helping clients maintain independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• State-required training will be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and assist clients.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Follow a care plan customized for each client.

Responsibilities

• Caregivers visit clients' homes to help maintain independence.
• Assist with meals, grooming, mobility, and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders and companionship.
• Assist with appointments and errands as needed.

Island Home Care is a family run business that is owned and operated by husband and wife duo Chris and Brandi Rinaudo. Both Chris and Brandi have years of experience with medicine. Chris served in the US Navy where he gained much knowledge and exposure to the field and Brandi has been an RN for over 20 years. Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Mobile cellular device
• Some clients require physical mobility assistance up to 50 lbs.
• Able to lift 10lbs.
• Reliable transportation
