Job summary

New River Valley Community Services (NRVCS) is hiring Direct Service Professionals to join our growing team in Virginia. You will provide direct services to individuals in group homes or day programs, helping them live more independently and participate in their communities.

Work with families, caregivers, staff and community resources to ensure safe, person-centered supports as outlined in ISPs. This is a full-time, hourly role with a pay range listed above.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with individuals in a care-giving role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct services designed to promote community inclusion and independence to individuals in group homes or day programs.
• Collaborate with families, other caregivers, staff, and natural resources to ensure services are delivered safely and efficiently as per ISP plans.

Job Description NRVCS is adding Direct Service Professionals to our growing team! The Direct Service Professional provides direct services designed to promote community inclusion and independence to individuals residing in agency group homes or participating in day programs. Works with family members, other caregivers, other staff, and natural community resources as indicated in the Individual Service Plans (ISPs) to ensure appropriate services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner. Full-Time Hourly Pay Range: $18.25 - $20.99 Education/Experience Required:

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with individuals in a care-giving role is preferred.

Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
