Job summary

Frontier Direct Care, a growing direct primary care practice in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, seeks APRN-FNP or PA to serve as the primary clinician for a defined patient panel. You’ll work with a Medical Assistant and collaborating physician to deliver longitudinal primary care, including preventive and chronic disease management, with 30–60 minute visits.

Qualifications

• Active Texas APRN-FNP or PA licensure (NCCPA-certified for PA).
• 2+ years post-graduate experience in family practice or primary care.
• Experience managing patients across lifespan (pediatric–geriatric).
• Hands-on procedural experience: I&Ds, suturing, skin biopsies, IV placement, men’s/women’s health exams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary clinician for a defined patient panel with collaborative support.
• Provide longitudinal primary care: preventive care, chronic disease management, acute visits.
• Manage chronic conditions with appropriate panel size and visit times.
• Perform in-office procedures including I&Ds, suturing, skin biopsies.
• See patients in person, by phone, and via secure video/text (30–60 min visits).
• Document visits and maintain records in EHR.
• Provide after-hours patient access via secure line.
• Operate under collaborating/delegating physician per Texas Medical Board, with mentorship.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and 1:1s.
