Job summary

Frontier Direct Care in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX is expanding with new clinics and seeks Family Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time, primary care roles offering genuine clinical autonomy.

Providers see 30–60 minute visits, manage chronic conditions, perform in-office procedures, and work with a dedicated Medical Assistant and collaborating physician to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Texas APRN-FNP license or PA (NCCPA-certified).
• 2+ years post-graduate experience in family practice or primary care.
• Experience managing patients across lifespan (pediatric through geriatric).
• Procedural experience: I&Ds, suturing, skin biopsies, IV placement, men’s/women’s health exams.
• Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain before start).
• Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Comfort with EMR and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide longitudinal primary care with 30–60 minute visits.
• Manage chronic conditions with appropriate panel size and visit time.
• Perform in-office procedures (I&Ds, suturing, biopsies).
• See patients in person, by phone, and via secure video/text.
• Document visits and maintain records in the EHR.
• Provide after-hours patient access via secure line.
• Work under a collaborating/delegating physician with mentorship.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and 1:1s.
