Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Buyer - Directs to lead operational procurement for direct materials. You will support P2P execution, supplier communications, and tactical sourcing across Mechanical, Electronics, and Software commodities.

Collaborate with SCM Lead and teams in London, Boston, and Vancouver to ensure continuity of supply, favorable cost performance, and operational excellence. Ideal candidates have strong procurement experience in manufacturing or robotics and solid contract knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct procurement within manufacturing/robotics/tech sectors.
• Knowledge of contract terms and negotiation frameworks.
• Awareness of export controls relevant to robotics and tech.

Responsibilities

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and analyze price trends and supply risks.
• Support RFx processes, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Drive cost, lead-time, and efficiency KPIs for direct commodities.
• Capture business requirements and translate into commercial packages.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and terms.
• Conduct price analyses and validate cost-breakdowns.
