Job summary

Clarios is seeking a motivated student to join our Procurement and Direct Materials team for a summer internship in Milwaukee. You will support commodity strategies, KPI tracking, and documentation for audits while gaining exposure to auto-industry supplier management.

The role offers hybrid work with up to 40 hours per week for Summer 2027, and requires enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a relevant undergrad degree. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

What You Will Do

Support the Procurement and Direct Materials Team in developing Commodity Strategies. Manage and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Ensure all documentation is available and properly completed for IATF audit requirements. This is critical to proper direct materials supplier management for the auto-industry.

How You Will Do It

Analyzing monthly reporting on performance, investigate variances, present findings, and organize and file forms as appropriate. Managing the business review process and establishing master schedule, track and monitor vendor spend. Supporting the development of strategy template, manage the scheduling and cadence of the strategy development sessions, launch RFQ’s and E-Auctions as necessary. Supporting supplier transition.

What We Look For

Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university. Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Business Management. Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer. Duration: Summer 2027. Up to 40 hours per week. Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions, with the option to work in the office. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
